Blast Furnaces
HRI is well versed in the many repair needs of blast furnaces, as our technicians have worked on the large bell, coal chute, armor plating, actuator arms and other unit elements for numerous clients over the years. Typical wear and tear on the unit that force immediate repairs and regularly scheduled replacements are both reasons clients call HRI.
Coke Ovens
Adequate airflow through coke oven ductwork is integral to unit efficiency. HRI technicians frequently performs flue gas duct inspections, cleans debris from ductwork, and replaces or repairs dampers for a better control of airflow and immediate increase in airflow efficiency.
Hot Strip Mills
Over time, fatigue on parts from routine operations has caused HRI technicians to make a variety of necessary welding repairs to oven equipment and water jacket parts within hot strip mills.
